Week 3 classes

This week in my classes I discussed a scenario with classmates about a clients blog and what information should be added into the blog. This client runs a pet store as well as trains and breeds dogs on the side. I personally suggested that the client includes both her pet store and her side hobbies. After posting my discussion I replied to classmates post and explained what I liked about their discussions.

I also read material over how to properly design a site and use functions such as search engine keywords. Having digestible facts, and your important information easily accessible on the top of your webpage is important so users can easily find the information they are looking for. You should also use short and informing headers that catch readers attention, and have information organized in easy to read bullet points for the web users. These designs are important because when users visit webpages they typically scan the pages content, rather than reading it, so they can receive the information they are looking for fast.

I also creating banners using photoshop that displays 2 different tools and examples of their functions in the banner. The banner up above is for the clone stamp tool that copies selected part of images and stamps it to your workspace. After creating the banner I created a motion timeline, which allowed me to create the looping gif you see above.

This is the second banner that I created that shows the use of the blur tool. This tool is self explanatory, it blurs out selected sections of images with can also be used to soften images. As with the first banner I created a looping gif with this banner as well.
